Pastor E.J. Farley Jr.
Rev. E.J. Farley Jr. a native of Crawfordsville, AR, was born on April 8, 1991 to the Rev. Eugene J. and Patricia Farley Sr. He accepted Christ early on in life and developed a love for God, the Bible, and preaching. As a boy, he would follow his dad as he ministered around the country. He always had a sense that one day God would use him to impact the Kingdom in the same way.
He is a graduate of El Dorado High School’s Class of 2009. After this, he attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
Upon graduating from college, he spent the next several years working in corporate America in the information technology space. It was during this season where he sensed God’s call on his life to minister through the proclamation of the Word. He preached his initial sermon on April 18, 2015 at the New Olive Branch Baptist Church under the tutelage of his father. He was licensed shortly after and has been faithfully preaching the gospel ever since.
He is currently in the final year of his degree program at Dallas Theological Seminary and plans to graduate with a Master of Arts in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care in the summer of 2024. He then plans to further his theological education through doctoral studies.
His passions include teaching the word of God and seeing people’s lives and communities transformed through the power of the gospel. In his free time, he enjoys reading, video games, music, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
E.J. is happily married to his beautiful wife Denisha (Akpan). They have one son, Eugene J. Farley III, better known as Jett.
